There is more to the Titan than just the thrill ride. The park’s operations have undergone major changes, including closing some pathways in low-traffic areas. Signs on walls indicate that they are working on future improvements. While these changes don’t affect rider safety, they do decrease the park’s ability to pay for staff. The new coaster was completed in March 2001. Testing began in early April. The new roller coaster opened to the public on April 26, 2001.

The Titan roller coaster is one of the newest additions to the Six Flags Over Texas theme park. The steel hyper coaster is shaped like a Greek god and was designed by Werner Stengel. It features an out-and-back track layout and a 255 foot drop. The ride’s height will keep you on the edge of your seat. Once you are in the air, you’ll be glad you did!

As for the Six Flags over Texas coaster, the park will remain open through Halloween. The lineup will be smaller on Thursday and Friday, but should be full by the weekend. Unfortunately, the Titan is currently closed while it is being fixed. It may take a while, but the park hopes to have the new lift hill chain installed by the holiday. While Mr. Freeze will be closed until the end of the year, there are other attractions in the park that will be closed.

Six Flags Over Texas has also delayed the Aquaman: Power Wave ride. The Aquaman: Power Wave ride was scheduled to open in the summer of 2020, but Six Flags has now announced it will open in the summer of 2022. The new ride will feature two boats, a turntable loading station, and live entertainment. There are also plans to open the Aquaman: Power Wave ride later this summer. The park hopes to open it by then!

Six Flags over Texas also has a new attraction that will be opening in 2022. The park is re-opening the recently closed Speelunkers ride. This is an exciting ride that will celebrate the park’s 60th anniversary this season. A new adventure could replace this old attraction, but it is unclear what will happen. Six Flags over Texas officials confirmed that the ride would be open. Hopefully, the new addition will make the park an even better place to visit.
