Desert IT Solutions’ founders, Kie Liang and Brian Arredondo, had been working in the managed IT services field for many years prior to the launch of the company. Their experience as employees in some of the largest IT support providers in the country helped them to see a hole in the market that they felt needed to be repaired.
Kie noticed that as managed IT service providers grew quickly, they lost their ability to provide customized, personal service to each of their customers. Smaller clients, in particular, tended to get neglected.
Propelled by a vision of a managed IT services company that provided customers with “white glove service,” Kie founded Desert IT Solutions in 2015. Brian soon after joined Kie as a partner and assisted with expanding the business into other cities.
